BARON / ZERO TOLERANCE & BETA 2 - Meet the creeper (Rmx)

Split single per due nuovi remix di brani già usciti in passato nelle versioni originali sotto il marchio CIA: in cabina di regia da una parte l'oldschooler Baron (di cui ancora una volta vogliamo ricordare, tra le numerose tracce firmate, quella uscita su uno dei Sektor EPs, la dirompente "See me burning"), dall'altra side, invece, i sempre più onnipresenti irlandesi della Bassbin, Zero Tolerance & Beta 2.
Baron sceglie di rielaborare la propria "Meet the creeper", uscita l'anno scorso, conferendogli un suono leggermente meno brutale, pur mantenendo arrangiamenti di percussioni e bassline abbastanza simili: il risultato è decisamente buono, tanto da, a mio parere, superare l'originale, soprattutto grazie ad un suono in generale meno aggressivo e più profondo.
Zero Tolerance & Beta 2, invece, approcciano "Zanzibar" di Total Science, pubblicata molto più in là nel passato del brano di Baron, e la rivestono di nuove scintillanti sfumature, mostrando ancora la loro particolare visione del suono: la versione originale viene enunciata dall'uso di tintinnanti percussioni e dal vocal femminile, reso ancora più in evidenza nell'arrangiamento, con una classe superlativa.
Due differenti fragranze in grado di accontentare palati differenti. Thumbs up.

Split single for two new remixes of tracks already released in the past in their original versions under the CIA brand: in the control room on one side the old-schooler Baron (we still remember, between the growing number of releases signed by him, the smashing "See me burning", on one of the past Sektor EPs), on the other side, instead, the more and more omnipresent Irish guys from Bassbin, Zero Tolerance & Beta 2.
Baron chooses to revisit his own "Meet the creeper", released last year, bringing a slightly less brutal sound, though still maintaining similar percussions arrangements and bassline: the result is, with no doubt, very good, as much, in my opinion, to even exceed the original one, most of all thanks to a sound generally deeper and less aggressive.
Zero Tolerance & Beta 2, instead, approach Total Science’s "Zanzibar", published even further in the past of Baron tracks, and dress it with new sparkling nuances, showing again their own personal vision of sound: the original version gets enhanced by the usage of tinkling percussions and by the female vocals, rendered even more on top in the arrangement, with faultless class.
Two different fragrances enabled to please different tastes. Thumbs up.
