v: hi Shitkatapult team. How are you?
m: good. chillin in tokyo. drink sake and eat sashimi....
s: just came back from my first show in rome which was very good.

v: some days before the "historical" dates in italy... What are preparing for this occasion?
m: get enough sleep

v: what's the main aspect shared by each artist of shitkatapult roster?
m: they release on the same label (shitkatapult) and they`re all freaks.
s: none of them are assholes.

v: what do you think of the so-called politically functional music? Do you think there some band or artists whose message has been overestimated?
m: REM, U2, SLAYER
s: sure, you have the power to transport messages with your music and as an artist you should do so. but those messages can be very simple. i´m not a fan of "obviously political" music...

v: someone described apparat style as post-romantic. Do you think this adjective is fitted for thump beats which denote apparat workouts?
s: i like that idea. especially my livesets are not very "romantic" anymore, hehe. but hey - if you believe the girls i´ve never been very romantic.

v: what are the main problems for indipendent labels nowadays?
m: money.
s: to many of them

v: i've tasted strike50, a dvd for an anniversary. what were the criteria used to select the tracks?
m: they had to be good, exclusive and good
s: showing the big variety of the label. it´s hard to believe but after 50 releases there are still people describing shitkatapults music by genres.

v: what about future releases and projects?
m: to keep it exiting i don`t tell you about this. but expect the unexpected.
s: 2005 is fully scheduled. there will be albums of well known shitsters and a few suprises by new ones...

v: so... many happy returns of the day! And good luck for your italian tour!
m: tanx a lot. see you there.....
s: unfortunately i wont be in bologna - but i´m sure the others will rock the block... ciao!
