E' la volta di un ragazzone maori giunto dal nord della Nuova Zelanda ad Auckland, omonimo artistico di Jason Hunter degli X-Clan, con la passione per gli strumenti tradizionali maori e con un range vocalico che va dal soprano al baritono. What's the weather in Wellington like? It is alive and well.

Could you explain us the "terms" of your brotherhood? Well my friends gave me the name brother jay and i still dont know why what do you think BRO?

Be Bop A Nui is a nice album... but what about the relation between it and your roots in new zealand? I find the most inspiration in nature and there are many different emotions that come from this land I try to tell our stories.

Why did u choose that title? Be bop a Nui, Because Be bop was my aunties name and I wanted to dedicate it to her and nui is a Maori word for large. So its kinda like big ups to auntie be bop.

What about your collaborators? Are you planning a tour with them? Yes, the canoes of polynesia are coming together We will come to see the queen bee in Europe this summer.

Do you feel that the club Khuja Lounge has been a unique experience? If yes, why? Yes it was a great experience. Why? I cant remember.

Sugarlicks is a very young label. How do you think about its development? We the chiefs of new zealand guarantee you the people of europe the highest quality sounds available. We also thank you for your support.

My favourite track is Kui Lee. Any tale behind that? It's an old love story about the one that got away.
